About Me

My name is Kristin Dahlman and I am a passionate occupational therapist with over a decade of experience supporting children in reaching their fullest potential.

After graduating from UCF with a Marketing degree and Interpersonal Communications minor, I worked in the advertising industry until my grandmother fell ill and needed an occupational therapist. The exposure to the industry set me on a journey that led me to where I am today. I have my Masters of Occupational Therapy degree from AdventHealth University and worked in various settings including schools, outpatient, and home health.
I have obtained additional training in pediatric feeding with the TR-eat Method (Transdisciplinary Effective Assessment and Treatment), Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, and Sensory-based Strategies. I have completed all the Learning Without Tears courses and utilize their multi-sensory approach to handwriting. I have taken many courses on Reflex Integration, ADHD & Sensory Disorders, Assessments and Intervention with DIR Floortime Approach and Pediatric Yoga.
My approach is holistic and family-centered. I take time understanding the whole child – their skills, challenges, emotions, and environment. This way therapy becomes not only effective but also meaningful and FUNctional! I value collaboration with parents, teachers, and caregivers, because lasting growth happens when everyone is part of the journey.

I founded Kristin D. Therapy with the belief that purposeful journeys matter – that every child has unique strengths and deserves therapy tailored to their individual needs.

"Every child's journey is unique, and every step forward matters. I believe in celebrating progress, building on strengths, and making therapy both meaningful and joyful."

As a mother to 3 – Parker (9), Jackson (8), and Maddox (6) – I know firsthand how much families want their children to gain independence, feel confident, and be happy which is why I pour my heart into supporting the families I work with.
